Missouri Gas Energy offers rebates for its customers for the installation of an approved high efficiency tankless water heater, heating and cooling systems in residential homes.
As a MGE Preferred Vendor, Rieck Mechanical offers a $125 rebate for the purchase of a Rinnai tankless water heater through the MGE energy conservation program.

Cool Homes is a rebate program that helps KCP&L customers maintain the operating efficiency of central A/C systems and offsets the cost of upgrading to a new high-efficiency system. KCP&L customers can save energy and reduce cooling costs while staying comfortable all summer long.
KCP&L offers instant rebates up to $850 through participating HVAC dealers toward the purchase of a new energy-efficient A/C or heat pump.
KCP&L customers may have their existing central air-cooling system tested by Check-Me!-trained HVAC contractors to see if it can be brought back to manufacturers' specifications - or receive a rebate if it needs to be replaced with a high-efficiency A/C or heat pump.
Click here for more information.As provided for under the "Federal Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization and Job Creation Act of 2010" signed into law on December 17, 2010, the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) now provides consumers with federal tax credits on home improvements including specified energy-efficient home improvements including qualifying, residential water heaters, placed in service from January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2011 in a homeowner's primary residence, and meet the criteria of "Qualified Products" as set forth by Section 25C of the Internal Revenue Code.
The tax credit for qualifying energy improvements such as the installation of Rinnai tankless water heaters, is 10% of the full purchase and installation price up to a maximum credit of $300.
